Why do My nails keep Popping off?
I followed all the steps from the user manual carefully and my nails still pop off within 3 days, What can I do? My nails keep leaving from the bottle, sad!
So many customers feed backed that their nails pop off within a week. The top reasons as blow:
1: Haven’t prepare the nail beds properly
2: Haven’t etch the nail tips
3: Haven’t clean the oil/ dust on the nail beds
4: The gel glue didn’t cure fully
5: There are bubbles under the nails
6: Poor quality nail glue/ nail tips
Haven’t prepare the nail beds properly will cause the tips pop off
1: The first step of getting your nails done is preparing your natural nail bed. The key of keep your nails lasting is not about the glue, not about the tips, but it is nail preparing!!!
No removing the dead skin from cuticle area will cause your nail tips cover on the dead skin, it will cause leaving. Because there are oil secretion for people alive
No buffing the nail surface and the under side of the nail tips will also cause the the tips leaving! As the nail surface and the nail tips are smoothly, it can’t bring friction force enough to catch each other strongly.
No cleaning the nail surface by Isopropy Alcohol will leaving cause there are some oil or dust remain on your nail surface. The nail tips and nail bed can not perfect combination.

1: Nail Prep
- Soften cuticles by cuticle remover, wait around 5 min until the cuticle skin soften completely. Then push the cuticle with cuticle pusher and remove the cuticles.
- File the nail surface with 180/220 nail files if you are new beginner. Or file the nail surface with efile sanding bits, which would be much quickly to buff the nail surface

- Clean the dust on the nails with nail brushes, then clean up the dust with cotton pads soaked with 95% Isopropyl Alcohol
- Apply a layer of nail dehydrator to get a totally dry nail surface

2: Choose the suitable sizes
Choose the correct nail sizes, make sure they are fit sidewall to sidewall. BTArtboxnails come with 15-16 sizes, no worried that you can not find your nail sizes.
3: Adhere the nail tips with Gel Glue
The solid gel glue with the low liquidity, which is much easy for nail beginner to use. UV gel request fast action to cure. Otherwise, it will cause air bubbles, which make the nails pop off easily. But the solid gel glue with the low liquidity, you can just do it slowly, more friendly for nail beginners.
Steps as below:
1: Apply the gel glue/ Solid gel glue on the nail tips. Put it on the middle and each side of the nail tips, which is make sure the gel will cover ever cornet of the nails.
2: Press it on natural nails with 45 degree, Make sure there are no air bubbles. If there are air bubbles, do it again.
3: Cure at least 60’s under the nail lamp ( not less then 6W), Make sure that all the nails totally dry
4: File the top of the nails
5: Clean the nail surface with cotton pads soaked with 95% Isopropyl Alcohol
6: Apply a layer of builder gel on the whole nail tips, the top edges of nail tips must be applied too
7: Cure 60’s
8: Apply a layer of top coat, cover the edges as well!
9: Cure for 90’s
10: Done
What might happen during the operation?
Scene 1: Not enough gel glue ( The gel can’t cover the full nails, air bubbles happen)
Solution: Apply solid gel glue/ UV gel glue on the middle of the natural nails, add the gel on the middle of nail tips and each side of nail tips. Then press the nails on with 45 degree again
Scene 2: Too much gel glue ( Too much gel glue will cause the nail tips pop off easily)
Solution: Cure the nails with 10’s, take your hands out and remove the extra glue by wooden stick. After that, continue to cure another 45’s
Scene 3: I have a super curved nail bed, always a gap between the front of nail tips and natural nails
Solution: Apply nail glue on the whole nail tips but not only the middle of the nail tips. Apply gel glue on the front edge of your natural nails. Then press the nails on with 45 degree again
Scene 4: I have a super flat nail bed, always caused air bubbles between the nail tips
Solution: Apply nail glue on the whole nail tips but not only the middle of the nail tips. Apply gel glue on the center of your natural nails, Then press the nails on with 45 degree again
What might happen on you after the nails few days on?
Scene 1: My top coat peel off?
Reason 1: You haven’t apply the BTArtboxnails builder gel and top coat.
Solution: Apply a layer of builder gel, cure 60’s. Then apply a layer of top coat, cure 60’s. The builder gel is the key to keep the french nails looks gorgeous.
Reason 2: You have apply the builder gel and top coat, but you didn’t cap the edge of the nail tips.
Solution: Cap the edges when you apply the builder gel and top coat, Make sure that there are no missing piece. No gap to start peeling off
Reason 3: File the top/shape of nail tips after apply the builder gel and top coat
Solution: File the top/shape of the nail tips before apply the builder gel and top coat. Otherwise, the full protective layer will have a breach to begin peeling off
Scene 2: My Nails pop off within a day/ pop off within a week
Solution: Check if you had do the nail prepare carefully
Check if there are air bubbles
Check if the gel cure completely
Check if the too much gel and cover the cuticle
Check if you had adhere the nail tips with UV gel/ regular nail glue/ Solid gel glue. Our X-Coat tips can not adhere with builder gel/ reinforce gel/ Top coat/ Base Coat.
